Mission statement

I never know what to say when asked to explain myself.  Maybe that’s a problem.  Maybe it’s not.  I am 27 and am currently a full time student,working a full time job, and balancing a full time relationship in American’s most full time city, New York.  Yikes.  Somedays it feels like kind of a lot…somedays it is kind of a lot.  I am originally from Pleasant Grove, Utah but have been living in New York for about a year and a half.  My intentions behind starting this little blog are simple.  I wanted to have an outlet to express what I am experiencing, and keep the folks at home feeling somehow involved in what my life is like.  I have no grand plans of drawing in high numbers of readers (but I do get a little down when 0 folks visit my page) or to change minds.  I’m just going to post photos, tell stories, and attempt better contact with the people in my life.  Hopefully y’all will feel a little closer to me and I’ll be in better touch with myself in the process.
